Description | Repair Hangar/Maintenance Shop/ Bldg 255 Project No. TQKD132013, 3142100-140733.01 The Oregon National Guard intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the repair of Bldg 255 according to the Specifications dated 18 December 2020 and Drawings dated 1 April 2021. The work will include the seismic upgrades, HVAC system replacement, aircraft fire suppression upgrade, roof repair, and interior reconfiguration so that the building can properly serve the Wing fighter aircraft mission. Micro-piles, grade beams, and additional support to the superstructure will be installed to reduce the risk of progressive collapse. The flat portion of the roof shall receive a new built up roof system and the metal panels will be replaced as needed. The HVAC system shall be upgraded to meet the current user needs. The existing AFFF aircraft fire suppression system will be converted to a wet pipe suppression system. The remainder of the hangar requires upgrade and should be sized according to the reconfigured spaces. Interior Spaces will be modified and upgraded to meet current user requirements. The current restrooms are outdated and in need of an upgrade. The Magnitude is between $10,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 236210. The Small Business Size Standard is $36,500,000.00. This award is 100% set aside for 8(a) certified small business. A pre-bid conference will be conducted 03 June 2022, 9:00 AM Pacific Time for the purposes of briefing on the bid requirements and answering questions regarding this solicitation. This conference will be held at Portland Air National Guard Base, 6801 NE Cornfoot Rd, Portland, Oregon, in Building 140 CE Classroom. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD. Interested vendors are highly encouraged to attend. A site visit will be held following the conference.
