Description

Project Description: Project consists of a 4,160 square foot, slab on grade, and pole structure with exterior vertical metal siding, interior metal liner panel, interior wood framed walls and gypsum board. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical emergency lighting is being designed by Architect's consultant. General electrical is design-build. D. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. Phase 1. General Contract (all trades) for the installation of the shell. Previously bid. 2. Phase 2. General Contract (all trades) for furnishing and installing the concrete slab, underslab plumbing and electrical (if designed as such), interior wall framing, mezzanine floor framing and stair. This phase shall include temporary heat as necessary. Interior plumbing, HVAC, electrical and interior finishes may need to be done later in this phase. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 20 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. TIME OF COMPLETION G. Successful bidders shall begin the Phase 2 Work at the direction of the Town of Cumberland and shall complete the Work no later than July 31, 2023. H. BONDS AND INSURANCE I. The Bidder shall provide fully executed Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond. J. The Bidder shall provide Certificates of Insurance to cover the project.
