Description

The project consists of replacing/upgrading existing asbestos cement (AC) water main with new mains. Approximately 6,000 ft. of existing AC water main will be removed or placed out of service, and will be replaced with new 6" and 8" PVC and 8" HDPE water mains. From State Road 46 to Blue Jay Place, the water main will be upsized from 6" to 8". Existing services will be transferred to the new water main. Additional fire hydrants, connections and valves will be added to the system; and all other incidentals including demolition necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
