Description

The project consists of approximately 4,700 linear feet of bicycle and pedestrian pathways, and streetscape improvements to portions of Highway 711 (3rd Street Downtown), Main Street and Union Chapel Roads, including replacement of aging utilities, installation of new lighting, landscaping improvements, curb and gutter, sidewalks, paving, drainage, wayfinding/signage, etc. With request for Bidding Documents supply the following information: Company name, contact person, street address, and phone and fax numbers for Bidding office; N. C. Contractor's License with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder will have 60 days to obtain a license. Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate. Small, minority and woman- owned businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder in accordance with the 2018 Standard Specifications
