RFQ Contractor - West Campus Parking Ramp Construct Facility

This project scope will include: A 5-story post-tension or precast parking ramp on Lot 43, north of WCTC, with capacity for roughly 1000 vehicles, pedestrian skyway extension to connect the new ramp to the existing UIHC skyway, and modification of existing site utilities and stormwater to facilitate construction. This work must be closely coordinated to minimize impact on surrounding facility operations, parking operations and campus activities. The project budget is $65,000,000. The estimated construction budget is $39,000,000. This is the prequalification process required for subcontractor to submit proposals for University of Iowa West Campus Parking Ramp - Bid Package 1 Early Phases for the construction of a parking ramp in Iowa City, Iowa. Complete plans call for the construction of a 280,000-square foot, 3-bay, 5-story, post-tensioned slab reinforced parking ramp. Conlon Construction Company will receive Statements of Qualifications for construction of West Campus Parking Ramp Construction Facility - Bid Package 1. Statements of Qualifications are only being accepted for the work scope packages listed below: Contract 1A - Hoisting Equipment (Tower Crane) Contract 3A - Concrete Foundations Contract 14A - Conveying Systems Contract 26A - Site Electrical Contract 31A - Earthwork & Demo Contract 31B - Excavation Support Contract 31C - Auger Cast Piles Contract 32A - Concrete Paving Submissions may be withdrawn by submitter upon written request any time prior to the submission.
