Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport - 183 CES Repair CRF Building P-17

Description of Work: The project, 183 CES Repair Centralized Repair Facility (CRF) Building P-17 will create adequate space to perform Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) work, metal fabrication and welding, as well as other back shop maintenance functions. Work will include, interior and exterior work as shown in the project documents that will be included in the solicitation. Renovation of the building will include: Interior walls will be reconfigured and electrical, plumbing, fire protection, communications and HVAC systems will be upgraded to accommodate equipment and space functions. The high-bay, north, and east lean-to slabs-on-grade will be replaced to accommodate a level floor for equipment. Latrines will be remodeled. Roof and wall cladding will be replaced/upgraded to meet Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection criteria. Site drainage improvements will also be completed to prevent water from standing adjacent to the building. Completion of this objective should result in an adequately sized and properly configured, co-located AGE, Sheet Metals Shop and Metal Tech facility suitable to equipment space needs and the operational requirements of the “back shop” maintenance activities.
