| Description | The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the mobilization and installation of offshore breakwater structures within the Lake Shelbyville Project boundary line. All excavation, site preparation, backfilling, and placement of riprap along the shoreline shall require the use heavy equipment, work barge and/or boat, and dump trucks. Some areas are accessible by land. All Riprap shall be contractor furnished and have a quality designation of "A" as per Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) standards. Contract Areas and Construction limits: The primary contract areas are located on the shoreline of Lake Shelbyville located in Shelbyville, IL within the Illinois Counties of Shelby and Moultrie. |
