Description

2,431' of 8" & 10" sewer pipe bursting, MH rehab, remove and replace 841' of 8" & 10" gravity sewer, install 686' of new gravity sewer, 12 new MH, rehab pump station, asphalt replacement. Funded by CDBG. Bidders must comply with Federal requirements, Davis-Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, EEO, & Section 3. Minimum wage rates apply. Bid bond, P&P bonds required. $150 for electronic plans, specs, & bid package. The scope of work includes pipe bursting approx. 2,431 lf of 10" & 8" sewer pipe, rehab manholes, remove & replace 841 lf of 8" & 10" gravity sewer with manholes, install 686 lf of new 8" gravity sewer, and rehab an existing pump station. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 & Order No. 11375 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI if the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and 40 CFR 33.240. The CDBG application, including the cost estimate, is available for review at the engineer's office. Bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned business and to offer employment, training and contracting opportunities in accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. Estimated cost is $750,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
