Design - Replace Patient Care Sanitary Pipe in Interstitial Space 3rd and 5th Floor

Goals - DVBE(100%). The Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm shall furnish professional services for 100% design to Replace Sanitary Pipes in Interstitial Space 3rd and 5th Floor of the A-Wing at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The design will include Design Development, Construction/Bid Documents per the A/E Design Submission Instructions Documents, Construction Administration Services, Technical Specifications and Cost Estimates. Areas served are: 6th floor Cardiology Service Medical Intensive Care Unit Acute Dialysis Clinic 4th floor Intensive Care Unit Surgery Service Special items to consider for this project: Phasing must be developed to maintain functionality of Operating rooms and other patient care areas to the maximum extent practical. Special requirements for drains from specific areas: ORs Acute Dialysis Cardiology Medical Intensive Care Unit The Design Development Submission shall include a comprehensive study, inspection and report of the existing project area conditions, which shall include plumbing, etc. A/E shall develop a plan and design to replace the sanitary systems that occupy the 3rd & 5th interstitials of the A-Wing. (i.e., drains, plumbing, valves, etc.).
