Happy Acres Park General Site Improvements

Project Category Code: Parks, Recreation, Trail Work, Concrete Pavement, Pavement - Marking, Curbs, Paving (Parking Lot Paving), Landscaping - Seeding, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete) The Project includes but is not limited to the following: 44 (EA) CLEARING AND GRUBBING 2,050 (LF) SILT FENCE 1 (LS) EARTHWORK 237 (LF) 15" RC PIPE SEWER 7,147 (SY) BITUMINOUS PARK DRIVE AND PARKING LOT 2.0 (AC) TURF ESTABLISHMENT (INCLUDING ALL RELATED WORK AND APPURTENANCES.) All in accordance with Plans and Specifications prepared by the City and on file at the Office of the City Engineer, 10801 Town Square Drive NE, Blaine, Minnesota. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids shall comply with the provisions of the statute. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days from date of opening of bids. The City Council will consider award of contracts at their regular meeting held on August 15, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 10801 Town Square Drive NE, Blaine, Minnesota. It is the City’s intent to begin construction by September 1, 2022, and all work to be substantially complete by October 28, 2022. Final completion is November 11, 2022.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Operation and Maintenance of Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
Division 34 -	Transportation, Operation and Maintenance of Transportation.
