RFP- D/B - Aqua Viva Water Treatment Plant Well No.1 Replacement

Questions Due Date: May 4th 2023, 11:00 AM MST Existing well #1 will be abandoned and replaced it with a well that produces a minimum flow of 3.0 million gallons per day. Water well will be built 100 west of the existing. Bid Security: Refers to the certified check, cashier s check or surety bond, which is required to be submitted with the bid to insure execution of the Contract and the furnishing of the required bonds and insurance certificates. The Bid Bond shall be for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable without condition to YUMA as a guarantee that the Bidder Bonds: a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Materials and Labor (Payment) Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Bonding companies and insurance carriers shall be better by the A.M. Best Company or comparable rating as determined Contractor shall commence Work under the Contract on the day indicated in the Notice to Proceed or within fourteen (14) days thereafter. Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion within 240 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed, and Final Completion within 30 calendar days following Substantial Completion in accordance with Section 9.2. No Work shall commence prior to issuance of a Notice to Proceed, including mobilization on site.
