Culvert Replacement

The project consists of a single prime contract but is not limited to the following: supply and install precast culvert on base set by Owner A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Borough McClure, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the Bid. A Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% the amount of the contract and issued by a corporate surety autho-rized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 calendar days of the award date. Bids submitted for this project are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough of McClure. Compliance with Act 127 of 2012 requiring all contractors and subcontractors to use e-Verify for verification of employment eligibility for all employees will be required. Verification form shall be provided to the Borough of McClure as a precondition of being awarded a contract. Bids may be held by the Borough of McClure for up to 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications prior to awarding the contract. The Borough of McClure reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in any bid. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Project Awards shall be made only to responsible bidders that possess the potential ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of this procurement. Consideration shall be given to such matters as bidder integrity, compliance with public policy, record past performance and financial and technical resources when determining responsibility
