Description | As of April 21, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: 2,300 LF of sanitary sewer (8 inch thru 10 inch PVC) along with associated sanitary sewer work and laterals; 2,900 L.F. of water main (6 inch thru 10 inch PVC) along with associated water work and services; 2,000 LF of storm sewer (12 inch thru 36 inch RCP) along with associated storm structure work; 13,000 S.Y. aggregate base and geotextile fabric installation; 33,000 S.Y. topsoil and sodding; 11,000 S.Y. of asphalt pavement; 5,900 L.F. concrete curb and gutter; as well as all related work including unclassified excavation, erosion control, traffic control, storm water pond installation, pavement markings, site cleanup, etc. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
