Description

The Cameron Parish Police Jury is procuring for Emergency Remediation, Abatement and Stabilization Services for all Parish owned buildings which suffered damages caused by manmade or natural disaster. The process for the selection of the firm will be in accordance with the procurement requirement found at Code 2 of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) Part 200 et seq, in addition to the statutory authority, regulatory requirements, and programmatic guidance governing the Federal Emergency Management Agencys (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Programs, Cameron Parish Police Jury (hereinafter the CPPJ) requests qualified firms to submit their Proposal of qualifications, rates and scope of work as described in this solicitation. Recipients and sub recipients of federal assistance are to take affirmative steps to ensure small businesses, minority and women business enterprises and labor surplus area firms are utilized as outlined under 2 Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) Part 200.321 et seq, when possible, and the Cameron Parish Police Jury agrees with this policy. To this end, Respondents that are not eligible for certification are encouraged to take affirmative steps as outlined under 2 CFR 200.321 to use small, minority and women-owned businesses and labor surplus area firms as subcontractors for this project.
