Description | The Coronaca Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station at 1418 Hwy 246 South consists of two proposed driveway repair location; one at the front of the station and one at the rear. The section to be replaced at the front of the station is approximately 60’x72’ of existing concrete and asphalt and contains a swale diverting water away from the station. The existing concrete to be demolished and removed is approximately 4” thick, but should be verified by the bidder before placing a bid. Existing bollards should be removed and reused at their same locations. All concrete shall be 8” thick, 4,000 pdsi and include wire mesh reinforcement. The rear section of driveway to be replaced at Coronaca is approximately 75’x55’ and consists of asphalt and concrete. Thickness of existing concrete and asphalt should be verified by the bidder before submitting a bid. The new concrete will have the same specifications as the front section of the station: 8” thick, 4,000 psi with wire mesh reinforcement. The driveway to be replaced at the Northwest Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station is approximately 60’x75’ with a slight flare at the northern corner. The thickness o the existing concrete shall be verified by the bidder before submitting the bid. New concrete shall be 8” thick, 4000 psi, with wire mesh reinforcement. Existing bollards shall be removed during demolition and reinstalled at their existing location. The new concrete driveway shall tie in with the existing sidewalk and street gutter on Oakwood Drive. |
