Description

**As of August 22, 2022, project was awarded to Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc, awarded amount is $5,509,768.99** The City of Palm Bay (hereinafter referred to as "City") is requesting sealed bids/proposals from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document. The project consists of the widening of Babcock Street at the intersection of St Johns Heritage Parkway (SJHP). Phase 1 will commence immediately after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Phase 1 will include embankment filling of an existing eastside drainage ditch to 36"- 40" of final grade, then utility conduits to be placed by others, backfilling the 36"-40" to final grade, drainage pipes, box structure and trenching utility conduits under Capital Drive, Babcock Street and St. Johns Heritage Parkway. Phase 2 will include the roadway widening, installation of drainage pipes, boxes and swales, installing curb and gutter, constructing the 4 travel lanes with base material and asphalt, removal of existing span wire traffic signal and installation of new pole and mast-arm traffic signal and interconnect conduit along Babcock Street. Bid Bond: 5% The City reserves the right to waive any bid/proposal informality or technicality and to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, whichever serves the best interest of the City of Palm Bay.
