Running Track and Athletic Field Improvements including stripping topsoil, placing and screening topsoil, earthwork, erosion control, dense graded base, concrete flatwork, storm sewer, goal posts, asphalt pavement, irrigation, fencing, seeding, sodding, restoration and electrical work. 2. Alternate Bids as represented in the Contract Documents. 3. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the Contractors bid. Contract“A Alternate 1” – Shout put, Access drive and Pedestrian Walkways– West 1. Site improvement work to include a shot-put throwing area, a 12’ wide, asphalt maintenance drive and plaza on the west side of the track and field facility, access gates and an 8’ wide pedestrian walkway to long jump and pole-vault runway at the north end of the track and field. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the Contractors’s bid. Contract “A Alternate 2” – Pedestrian walkway and Bleacher pad - East 1. Site improvement work to add an 8’ wide pedestrian walkway from the long jump and pole-vault runway to a new concrete bleacher pad on the east side of the track and field. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the Contractor bid.
