Description

Pre-Qualification: Yes In general, the project consists of various improvements throughout the Downtown Area in the City of Marinette. The improvements include but are not limited to approximately 17,000 SY of 8-Inch concrete pavement including construction of a compact roundabout, 54,500 SF of concrete sidewalk including the construction of a decorative concrete plaza area; 9,000 LF of curb and gutter, 2,350 LF of water main, 2,320 LF of sanitary sewer, 3,360 LF of storm sewer, roadway excavation, various traffic signal and electrical improvements, street lighting, pavement marking, streetscaping, landscaping, construction and grading of a roadway spoil disposal site, and associated work. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. This project will be partially funded with WisDOT funds from a Transportation Economic Assistance (TEA) grant and is subject to State and Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. The contract awarded under this bid advertisement may be funded in part by financial assistance from the Wisconsin Safe Drinking Water Loan Program and Wisconsin Clean Water Fund Program and will be subject to regulations contained in Wis. Adm. Code, s. NR 166.12, Wis. Adm. Code, s. NR 162.09, and appropriate state statutes. Bidders agree to abide by Executive Order 11246, as amended, and the provisions for civil rights, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action set forth in the Bidding Documents. This procurement is subject to regulations contained in NR 166.12(4) and 162.09(4) for solicitation of disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs). We encourage DBEs, including MBEs and WBEs, to submit bids. PROJECT COMPLETION INFORMATION: Stage 1 work - Main Street (STA 300+40 to 309+10) and Ludington Street, from Mann Street to Stanton Street (STA 114+50 to 133+00) on or before September 30, 2023. Stage 2 work - Wells Street (STA201+00 to 204+85) and Ludington Street, from USH 41/Hall Ave to Mann Street (STA 201+00 to 204+85) on or before September 30, 2024.
