Description | Debris management monitors are necessary to ensure the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) emergency plan and debris removal contract requirements are met by monitoring debris removal from public access roads, rights-of-way, and public property. Monitoring of the debris management sites, as well as roving debris monitors, ensures that the debris management plan and contracts are effectively and efficiently implemented. The debris monitoring contractor is responsible for all FEMA related paperwork for reimbursement purposes. The debris monitoring contractor must report to the City designated Debris Manager. The Contractor must provide the debris management monitors with all personal protective equipment (PPE), communication devices (cell phones, radios, laptops), transportation (trucks), temporary office space (as needed or required), digital cameras, all other devices needed for proper record keeping and job performance |
