**As of February 27, 2023, this project has been awarded to A&A Concrete in the amount of $64,928.14. CHAMPAIGN PARK - The Champaign Park District is requesting bids for the Parkland Way Improvements 2023 at Dodds Park, 1501 N. Mattis Ave., Champaign, IL DISTRICT NOTICE FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the PARKLAND WAY IMPROVEMENTS 2023 as described in available specifications will be received at the office of said District, 706 Kenwood Road, Champaign IL 61821 until 11:00 AM prevailing time TUES. FEB. 14, 2023 at which time said bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Specifications and other information may be obtained at the office of said Park District. The District reserves the right to waive informalities in bidding, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that bid which in its judgment will be in the best interests of the Park District. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 am prevailing time on WED. FEB. 1, 2023 at Dodds Park, Softball Complex, 1501 N. Mattis Ave. Champaign, IL. Champaign Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on the approved project. However, every bidder shall comply with the provisions of the Affirmative Action Ordinance of the Champaign Park District and must insure that any subcontractor used shall also comply therewith. Furthermore, all bidders shall comply with all Federal, State, and local statutory requirements pertaining to prevailing wages, Illinois Fair Employment Act, equal opportunity regulations, and any other State or Federal aid regulations applicable to the contract. It is the bidders' responsibility to check for bid addenda and written responses to questions. Remove and replace one (1) culvert under the west entrance of the Softball 3-plex/Eddie Albert Gardens parking lot. Add one end section to new culvert. New concrete must be level with existing concrete. Culvert end section shall be one (1) sixteen (16) gage galvanized steel, flared on the upstream (west) side of the parking entrance apron, tied with adapter band. End section to have reinforced upper edge and bottom toe plate and backfilled with soil to top of wings. Restoration of shoulders shall be completed per IDOT Specification 481.07 Aggregate Wedge Shoulder TY-B, two (2) feet wide minimum. Materials, labor, equipment, and safety to remove and replace approximately 4,180 square feet of PCC roadway and approximately 1,205 square feet of PCC parking lot entrance apron and culvert infrastructure
