Leslie Drive Retaining Wall

Project generally comprises of constructing 95 LF of 8 FT high stamped concrete cantilever retaining wall and restoration of areas disturbed by construction operations. Questions will be accepted until 4:00 P.M, prevailing time, on September 1, 2022; questions will be accepted through portal, only from prime bidders. All questions must be submitted through portal and will not be accepted in any other manner. The apparent low bidder and the next two lowest bidders must submit, to the Engineer, originals of the Bidding Documents within two (2) business days from the date of the bid opening. Reproduction of the Bidding Documents and placement on web sites other than portal, is not permitted. Bids may be modified or withdrawn at any time prior to the opening of Bids. After the Bid opening, Bids may be withdrawn only by complying with State of Maryland laws and regulations. A summary of such laws and regulations is given in the Instructions to Bidders (Document 00100). Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. See Instructions to Bidders for other provisions on the time available for acceptance of Bids. The Contract will be subject to the Wage Determination, Standards and Regulations established by the Maryland Prevailing Wage Law. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for five percent (5%) of the Bid total. It is a requirement of this Contract that at least 50% of the Work be performed by prime Bidder's own work force, not by subcontractor(s). It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidders shall have a minimum of five (5) years, ten (10) project documented experience in the type of work required by this project. Bidders, subcontractors, their workers, and any persons providing labor and products to the Project shall be persons lawfully permitted to work in the United States and the State of Maryland The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities in any Bid not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
