Description | Project no-:21-2111, U1382-925-221 Order- 7713787 The Project consists of: This project will include The Equipment Storage Facility consists of two prefabricated Clearspan fabric buildings located off of an existing non-paved road and will provide storage of maintenance and recreation vehicles and equipment. The scope is defined in two drawing volumes (Site work and building installation) with Base Scope and an Additive Alternate. Volume 1 Base scope is all site work. Inclusive of utilities, storm water treatment, asphalt, fencing, gates, lighting, generator and scope as shown on drawings. Construction of the foundations and slab for the Owner furnished storage buildings, interior installation of building systems including power, fire sprinklers and installation of District furnished lighting and heating. Provide pathways for future installation of plumbing and extension of power. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Lake Tahoe Community College District , in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract , the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. All site work shall be performed from June 01, 2022 to October 14, 2022. Final building completion by December 31, 2022. Last day for questions is Wednesday, May 11 *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Groundwork, foundation, slab, and underground utilities shall be performed by October 14, 2022. Final Completion: All work shall be performed by January 31, 2023. No work shall occur during the following dates: o All groundwork ceases between October 15 through April 30 each year. o Additional dates may exist and will be coordinated in advance with the Contractor The Equipment Storage Facility includes a 7,080 sf District provided premanufactured fabric building by Clearspan. The building will store equipment and vehicles and will not be occupied. 2. The contractor will be responsible for all site work and interior fit-out as shown in Volume 1 of the drawings. This includes the extension of utilities and new utility connections. Site work includes a perimeter fence, vehicle and man-gates, site lighting, asphalt and storm water treatment. Interior scope includes the installation and connection of owner furnished lighting, heaters and overhead doors as well as scope shown in Volume 1 of the drawings. 3. The contractor will be responsible for erection and construction of the premanufactured building in Volume 2 of the drawings. Engineers estimate: $2,200,000. All site work shall be performed by October 14, 2022. Final building completion by January 31, 2022. Projected District Board Approval by Tuesday, July 19, 2022 Projected project start in July/August 2022 |
