Invitation for Bids (IFB) Set-Aside for Small Businesses NAICS Code: 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors The New York National Guard intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the installation of a new grounding wire at F.S. Gabreski Airport, Westhampton Beach NY, 11978. The contract duration will be 90 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990, with a small business size standard of $16,500,000. The magnitude of construction is less then $35,000. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about May 5, 2023. The tentative date for the pre-bid/site survey conference is on May 10, 2023, 1000 local time, location to be provided in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements must be sent prior to the prebid/site survey. To complete the base access please send in the attached excel document (Blank Vetting Form) with the required information no later than 1500 09MAY23. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. The bid opening date is tentatively planned for on-or-about June 6th at 1401. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 85 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded".
