For RFQ Contractor - Palmetto Commerce Parkway Interchange Improvements Water Main Relocation The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Charleston, South Carolina, is requesting interested Contractors to complete an Application for Prequalification of Bidders for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of the Palmetto Commerce Parkway Interchange Improvements Water Main Relocation. The Work to be performed consists of the installation of approximately 2,200 LF of 24-inch DIP water main, 675 LF of 16-inch DIP water main, 850 LF of 10-inch HDPE flushing pipe, 350 LF of 36-inch steel casing, 2 fire hydrants, two 24-inch butterfly valves, 4 and 10-inch gate valves, three air release valves, and all associated appurtenances. Bids for this project will only be accepted from Contractors who have been prequalified for this project. The Owner will not accept bids from Contractors who fail to submit timely applications for prequalification or from Contractors who fail to prequalify. The project will be bid at a later date as part of Charleston County's Palmetto Commerce Parkway Interchange Improvement project.
