Description

This is a Public Works Contract and subject to the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Wage Rates, dated July 1, 2022, and amendments for region 10 as defined under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Project Contact: All design questions and clarification inquiries shall be Made in Writing by December 28, 2022 to Lindsey Cromsigt, Project Manager, or email Lindsey.cromsigt@redmondoregon.gov The scope includes drilling and testing of a new municipal drinking water well with a 26-inch diameter borehole and 18-inch production casing. The upper portion of the borehole will be sealed with cement grout to a depth of approximately 200 to 300 feet below ground surface (ft. bgs.) in a competent basalt flow. The lower borehole will consist of an 18-inch screen to an anticipated depth of approximately 800 ft. bgs. The screen assembly will consist of stainless steel well screen and stainless-steel casing blanks, final depth to be determined based on geologic conditions encountered during drilling. The final completion will be documented and submitted to the Oregon Water Resources Department and will comply with OAR 690-200 and OAR 690-210.The City estimates the cost of improvements at approximately $1,000,000. General Contractors who plan to bid on this project are required to register for an account to be included in the Plan Holders list and to receive email updates of any addenda or revisions to the bid documents. No Proposal will be considered from a General Contractor to whom a proposal form has not been issued by the City of Redmond to registered bidders from electronically.
