Environmental Monitoring Services for Cleaning and Painting of Bridges, Statewide

Manage other paint inspectors assigned to bridge painting contracts, perform field inspections and evaluations of new and existing coatings systems; provide expert advice, testing, and training services concerning paint coatings of steel bridges; perform quality assurance that Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) construction contractors are in compliance with contract provisions and State, Local and Federal regulations; perform field testing and monitoring as required; and review construction contractor’s plans, programs, construction, and field data for environmental, hazardous waste, and worker safety for cleaning and painting operations of existing steel bridges that include removal of paint containing toxic metal, statewide. The duration of this contract will not exceed five years. The total funding authority for the one (1) contract will not exceed $1,000,000.
