Description

The Ford County Road & Bridge Division is soliciting bids for Roadway Paint Striping. Ford County Road & Bridge requires 24.5 miles of roadway to be striped with yellow center line including no passing stripes and white edge stripes creating a 12 travel lane. We are estimating +/- 690 gallons of yellow paint and +/- 1350 gallons of white paint will be required for completion. Application of no less than 7lbs of glass beads per gallon of paint and no more than 8lbs of glass beads per gallon of paint is required. Paint and glass beads shall meet or exceed Kansas specifications. Pavement markings shall conform to the applicable requirements of the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Part III. The project shall begin no earlier than October 31st, 2023 and be completed no later than December 31st, 2023. As part of your bid, please include price per gallon of paint, price per mile of painted roadway and total price of project for all 24.5 miles. Ford County Commissioners will review the bids during their next regularly scheduled meeting and may reject any and all bids.
