High School Partial Roof Improvements

Remove all roofing materials down to existing steel roof deck. Inspect steel roof deck and replace/repair as needed. Mechanically fasten new base layers of insulation and 1/8" tapered insulation adhered to achieve a minimum R-30, install new adhered 1/2 " cover board. Apply fully adhered 50 mil fleece-back KEE membrane. Provide manufacturer's 20-year warranty.Alternate 1 (16,600 s.f.): Remove all roofing materials down to existing steel/concrete roof deck. Inspect steel/concrete roof deck and replace/repair as needed. Mechanically fasten new base layers of insulation and 1/8" tapered insulation adhered to achieve a minimum R-30, install new adhered 1/2 " cover board. Apply fully adhered 50 mil fleece-back KEE membrane. Provide manufacturer's 20-year warranty.Alternate 2 (13,000 s.f.): Remove all roofing materials down to existing steel roof deck. Inspect steel roof deck and replace/repair as needed. Mechanically fasten new base layers of insulation and 1/8" tapered insulation adhered to achieve a minimum R-30, install new adhered 1/2 " cover board. Apply fully adhered 50 mil fleece-back KEE membrane. Provide manufacturer's 20-year warranty.Alternate 3: Provide deduct alternate for providing surface mounted counter flashing in lieu of reglet counter flashing. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds, and certificates of Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance.
