Mount Vernon-Albany Regeneration

Part A – Mt Vernon Timber sale and regeneration plans for the WDNR Mount Vernon Creek Fishery Area lands have been scheduled by the WDNR Forestry Division to include approximately 51 acres. A site preparation and invasive species treatment contract, which includes project specifications and conditions, will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. Bids will be made in terms of cost per acre. Bids must be for the entire acreage listed above; however, the actual total acreage may be slightly more or less than 51 acres. - Phase one treatment shall be completed between July 1, 2021 and July 1, 2022. No cutting or mowing of oak trees is permitted April 1 – July 15 of any year. Part B – Albany Timber sale and regeneration plans for the WDNR Albany Wildlife Area lands have been scheduled by the WDNR Forestry Division to include approximately 16 acres. A site preparation and invasive species treatment contract, which includes project specifications and conditions, will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. Bids will be made in terms of cost per acre. Bids must be for the entire acreage listed above; however, the actual total acreage may be slightly more or less than 16 acres
