Description | Bids will be received for the facility alteration and vestibule addition work to the existing City of Schofield Public Works Building, 351 Alderson Street, Schofield, WI 54476 The Base Bid of the project will consist of approximately 6,733 square feet of interior alterations and 256 square feet vestibule addition. The interior alteration area will be constructed with wood studs, gypsum board partitions, painting, interior suspended ceilings, flooring, millwork, and casework. Alteration area will include selective demolition, cutting of the exterior ribbed CMU and concrete floor slabs. Project items include: pre hung wood doors, wood door panels, hollow metal doors and frames, hardware, fiberglass exterior insulated windows. The addition will be constructed of wood studs, insulated sheathing, split face veneer, fiber cement siding, metal exterior cladding, aluminum storefront, structural wood members, column covers, and EPDM roof system. The existing 6,733 square foot roof will be reroofed using an EPDM retrofit insulated system. The work will include general construction, heating, ventilating, plumbing, electrical and data infrastructure. Alternate 1: Alternative flooring options. The project will be phased to complete the interior alterations by May 30, 2023 for staff relocation. The tentative substantial completion date is July 28, 2023.
