Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Construction of Rowan / Ellis Mill Road / US 322 Connector Road (CR641 Spur) in the Township of Harrison and Borough of Glassboro in Gloucester County

The work on Ellis Mill Road / US 322 Connector Road (C.R. 641 Spur) shall include, but not be limited to, stripping topsoil 12” deep from station 1+50 to 39+00 and stockpiling separately for reuse. Stripping topsoil 8” deep from station 39+00 to 48+00 and 6” deep from the basin area and stockpiling separately for reuse. The installation of 6” of dense graded aggregate, 4” of HMA 19M64 and 2.5” of HMA 12.5ME Surface Course. A super-elevated section of the road shall be constructed from station 39+73 to 45+39. Stormwater management measures to be installed include, storm drains, reinforced concrete piping, roadside swales and a stormwater management basin. Soil excavated from the basin will be used for roadway construction. Bicycle safe grates and NJDEP ECO compliant heads shall be utilized. A sanitary sewer main shall be installed, including several manholes, and connection to an existing main. Roadway markings shall be established, including striping and reflective pavement markers, as noted on the plans. Roadway signs shall be installed as noted on the plans. One alternate bid is proposed. The work associated with this alternative bid shall include, but not be limited to, installation of fiber optic conduit bank and fiber optic vaults from Sta.1+50 to 49+00 as indicated on the plans. This duct bank work will tie into a duct bank crossing previously constructed by Rowan University across US 322.
