Description | Oroville Union High School District, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District is requesting proposals, for the award of Erate contracts for the following: Category 2: Cabling FY22, This is a Public Works project and will require Bonds and Insurance. Prevailing wage rates must be paid and Certified Payroll Records submitted at the conclusion of the projects. This project requires the services of contractors holding a valid California C7 or C10 contractor's license that will be current for the entire installation. Contractor must be familiar with SB854 and its requirements. This is an Erate funded project. Vendor must participate in the E-Rate Program and must provide a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Federal Registration Number (FCC-FRN) with the proposal. This RFP is pursuant to Public Contract Codes 20118.2, 20111, and 22000. All public works projects shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the department of industrial relations. Pursuant to California Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 all public works contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the department of industrial relations. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informality in any proposals received, even with SLD funding approval. In addition, the district reserves the right to deny any or all proposals associated with this RFP, even with SLD funding approval. The district reserves the right to accept the pricing proposal solely dependent upon SLD approval. Contractor must contact the project manager to arrange a job start meeting to review procedures, work sequence, and tentative scheduling. Contractor shall commence work AFTER receiving a notice to proceed from the district, which will include a date and time. Contractor shall not proceed with any work on the project without a job start meeting. |
