2023 Roof Replacement - Learning Center, Muir Literacy Academy, and Frost Junior High School, Aldrin Elementary School

As of March 8, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 9, 2023. For 2023 Roof Replacement at Early Learning Center, Muir Literacy Academy, and Frost Junior High School, and 2023 Roof Recover/Overlay at Aldrin Elementary School. In order to familiarize themselves with the project, Contractors will have the opportunity to visit the Project sites after the meeting, accompanied by both the Owner and the Consultant. It is the responsibility of the Bidder/Contractor to attend and sign-in at the pre-bid conference. Failure to attend and sign-in at the pre-bid conference shall result in the rejection of any bids submitted by those non-attending Bidder/Contractors. The company name registered at sign-in must be the same as that of the company submitting the quotations. This will be the only time that the Bidders/Contractors shall be allowed access to the project sites. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. Schaumburg School District 54 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District. All Bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages to all laborers, workman and mechanics working on public funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount.
