Description

This project, located in Prince George’s County, is for the reconstruction, widening, and safety improvements of MD 5 (Branch Avenue) and MD 637 (Naylor Road). The limits of the improvements along MD 5 are from the District of Columbia Line to the intersection of Curtis Drive. The improvements along Naylor Road are from the intersection of Suitland Parkway to the intersection of MD 5. The work will consist of the following: (a)Maintenance of traffic; (b)Full depth construction; wedge/leveling, milling and resurfacing, patching, concrete roundabout replacement; (c) ADA sidewalk and sidewalk ramps; (d) Installation of curb and gutter; (e) Installation of traffic barrier; (f) Installation of Bioswale; (g) Installation of inlets, manholes, and pipes; (h)Erosion and sediment control; (i)Landscaping; (j)Installation of lighting; (k)Installation of pavement markings and signage; (l)Installation of signals; (m)Installation of fencing and railing.
