J-70 La Quinta Administration Building HVAC Flex Ductwork Replacement

Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and all other resources necessary to properly replace 213 of flex duct pieces, for an approximate 982 linear feet of flexible ductwork; 133 air supply registers with new diffusers and adjustment keys; 80 return grilles; and install 43 new trunk line dampers and 9 fresh-air duct dampers, both with dial damper regulators, at the ductwork system of the J-70 La Quinta Administration Building, located at 81-600 Avenue 58, La Quinta, CA, as detailed in this solicitation. Responses will not be accepted from respondents not attending this mandatory meeting (see attached files). Prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Respondents intending to participate in the mandatory meeting and jobwalk on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 are required to submit acceptable proof of completion of ladder training and the completed Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement included with this Invitation Letter to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent via email to purchasing@iid.comby 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Friday, September 16, 2022. The proof of completion of ladder training and Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement must be in the name of participating respondent. Questions concerning this Primary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Thursday, September 29, 2022 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on our website electronically , under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Only persons or firms possessing a current, valid type C-20 California Contractors License or an A California Contractors License will be considered for this work. Contractors License must be held in the Firms name submitting the response.
