Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms to provide roof replacement and associated demolition. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email) and must be received no later than March 7, 2023, at 10:00AM. Email: Matthew.Finley@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, address, a capability statement, and SAM Unique Entity ID. Project magnitude is anticipated between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Project 589-22-105 Replace Roof at the Kansas City VA Honor Annex located at 4251 Northern Ave, Kansas City, MO 64133. Note* This is a satellite building separate from the main KCVA campus. The Honor Annex roof is beyond its useful life and requires a full replacement. Description of Work: includes general construction, alterations, roof drainage, necessary removal of existing structures, construction, and certain other items. Removing and replacing an existing roof, Removing, and replacing existing roof drains, Removing and replacing existing Hatch and ships ladder, and removing and replacing stormwater laterals. Reinstalling new roof drainage system. Electrical Work: Building 55 Roof Replacement work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project including lightning protection and security camera. Mechanical Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required Mechanical construction work on this project including plumbing and ventilation. The above work and other project requirements as defined by the Specifications and Drawings shall be included under the Base Bid. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for as required by drawings and specifications to be provided when Solicitation 36C25523R0074 is released on or about March 14, 2023. The site visit is tentatively scheduled for April 5, 2023, but that date could change and will be clarified in the solicitation. Interested bidders are highly encouraged to attend. Period of performance is expected to be approximately 180 calendar days. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
