Description

**As of August 4, 2022 project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid.** This project involves the conversion of two adjacent private patient rooms into one patient room with two beds. The existing wall between the private rooms, along with the two bathrooms and associated HVAC, electrical and plumbing services for the bathroom will be demolished. The new room will include a single handicap accessible bathroom, enlarged door from the corridor into the room, relocated med gas and electrical services for each patient bed and a patient bed and a patient lift system configured to serve both beds. Wall and floor finishes shall be restored. A new ACT ceiling system and lighting will be provided. Existing HVAC induction units will be reused and balanced to required airflow. Existing direct digital controls will be reconfigured to allow both induction units to operate in unison. All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by within 120 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at: SUNY Upstate, Design and Construction, 650 South Salina Street, 2nd floor, Syracuse, NY 13202.
