Description

Remove all debris, liquids, sludge, and foreign material from scale pits, storm water vaults and oil/water separators through the use of a vacuum truck with water jetting capabilities and adequate storage volume to contain all cleanout materials; and through the use of manual labor as needed, or in the case that vacuum truck limitations exist. Work will be performed at the Eastern Sanitary Landfill (ESL), the Central Acceptance Facility (CAF) and at the Western Acceptance Facility (WAF). Some pits and vaults may require confined space entry as described on the attached spreadsheet.
