North Charleston Senior Center at Dorchester Road Grounds Maintenance

The City of North Charleston intends to obtain grounds maintenance and repair services for the North Charleston Senior Center at Dorchester Road. Work will include regular cutting of grassed areas, pruning of shrubs, ornamental grasses, and trees, fertilization, chemical treatments, mulching, raking, cleaning, and irrigation system repairs. Each Bidder should visit the site of the proposed work and fully acquaint themselves with the existing conditions relating to the scope of work. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicalities or informalities, and to be the sole judge of the suitability of the firm to provide the required services. The initial contract shall be for a period of one (1) year. Upon completion of the initial term of the Agreement, and again on each subsequent anniversary date, at a cost that is acceptable to the Owner and Contractor, the Agreement shall be automatically renewed for additional one-year periods unless either party shall give written notice to the other, at lease ninety (90) consecutive calendar days prior to the expiration of the initial term or any renewal thereof, that the Agreement shall not be so extended.
