Description | A. Work Restrictions, General: Comply with restrictions on construction operations. 1. Comply with limitations on use of public streets and with other requirements of authorities having jurisdiction. B. Generator and Transfer Switch: Work shall be conducted so that normal power shall be maintained during building occupied hours: 8am-5pm; Monday thru Friday. Electric service interruptions to be performed only on the weekend or after normal business hours, as determined by the owner's representative. Work to be completed between the months of 8/1/2023 and 8/1/2024. C. Existing Utility Interruptions: Do not interrupt utilities serving facilities occupied by Owner or others unless permitted under the following conditions and then only after providing temporary utility services according to requirements indicated: 1. Notify Owner not less than one week in advance of proposed utility interruptions. 2. Obtain Owner's written permission before proceeding with utility interruptions. D. Noise, Vibration, and Odors: Coordinate operations that may result in high levels of noise and vibration, odors, or other disruption to Owner occupancy with Owner. 1. Notify Owner not less than one week in advance of proposed disruptive operations. 2. Obtain Owner's written permission before proceeding with disruptive operations. E. Restricted Substances: Use of tobacco products, e-cigarettes and other controlled substances on Project site is not permitted. Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished in the Proposal Booklet and must not be detached from the Proposal Booklet. A deposit in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required and is subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or certified check payable to the COUNTY OF ONEIDA.0 Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check with bid will result in automatic disqualification of bid. Failure to submit a bid upon the proposal form(s) furnished by the Oneida County Purchasing Department or submittal of form(s) detached from the Proposal Booklet will result in automatic disqualification of bid. A Performance Bond will be required and for an amount not less than 100% of bid price. This contract is subject to compliance with Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing rate of wages. On all public work projects of at least $250,000.00, all laborers, workers and mechanics working on the site, shall be certified as having successfully completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course.
