Description

The project consists of developing detailed design plans and construction of an Observation Tower at the Cane Creek Mountains Natural Area. The vendor must provide design plans for an eighty (80) ft. observation tower to be located within Cane Creek Mountains Natural Area. The final design must: 1. Meet or exceed North Carolina laws and requirements. 2. Meet or exceed current industry standards. 3. Meet or exceed current Federal Americans with Disability Act (ADA) 4. Be stamped by an engineer. 5. Minimize possible impact to surrounding natural areas, including clearing the smallest footprint possible for the design requirements, and limiting the removal of mature trees and other flora and fauna. Tree removal must be preapproved in writing from the County during the design phase.
