Pine Street Alley Parking Lot - Low Volume Driveway Project

The project includes the demolition of existing concrete curb, driveway apron and sidewalk plus pavement in order to relocate and reconstruct the vehicular entry/exit (low volume driveway) for the Borough’s existing public parking lot, located near 25 S. Reading Avenue (a.k.a. S.R. 0526). The project work includes the reconstruction of concrete curb, driveway apron, sidewalk and restoration of pavement along the curb and within the public parking lot owned and maintained by the Borough. Other work includes eradicating the existing, and reestablishing, the line striping, removal of signs and parking meters, adjustment of utilities and a storm manhole grate, installation of new signs and construction of similar improvements. Additional incidental work will include; installing and maintaining all necessary temporary erosion and sediment control facilities, site preparation, maintenance and protection of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and construction of associated improvement
