Utica Maintenance Facility

Construction of an industrial pre-fabricated maintenance building for the New York State Canal Corporation's Utica Maintenance division located in Frankfort, NY. The facility will be an approximate 27,000 square foot pre-engineered maintenance building and 4,000 square foot storage building (located on an approximate 5-acre site) to primarily serve the various NYSCC trades serving the Mohawk and Central NY Regions. The maintenance building will consist of various programmatic spaces including, but not limited to, office areas, maintenance areas, welding area, storage space and utility areas with a bridge crane (assume 18-ft hook height and verify during design) to serve several of the spaces. The project will also include a parking lot with approximately 75 parking spaces, associated drive aisles, fuel island with above ground storage tanks, and (2) 7,500sf+/- bio retention basins. Sitework also consists of security fencing, water supply connection to the village water main, sanitary sewer connection to the existing village sewer, electrical service connection to existing overhead electric lines, gas service extension, an extension of Williams Street to the site, and an access road from Industrial Drive to Williams Street.
