Construction of Davis Avenue Pedestrian Bridge (CD)

This bridge will replace the previously demolished bridge, spanning from Davis Avenue to Riverview Park over Woods Run Avenue in the Brighton Heights neighbourhood in the City of Pittsburgh. The City of Pittsburgh's Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, is soliciting bids for the construction of a Prefabricated Steel Pedestrian Bridge per the approved contract plans. This bridge will replace the previously demolished bridge, spanning from Davis Avenue to Riverview Park over Woods Run Avenue in the Brighton Heights neighborhood in the City of Pittsburgh. The new bridge is to be a 3-span pedestrian/bicycle bridge into Riverview Park. The bridge has a total proposed length of about 396 ft and a vertical clearance of about 73 ft above Woods Run Ave. It will be supported by new intermediate piers supported by spread footings while reusing the existing masonry abutments. The new bridge is to be a 3-span pedestrian/bicycle bridge into Riverview Park. A Bid Bond is required.
