Description

1. The vendor agrees that his/her proposal and the terms therein will remain effective for 90 days from the date of deadline for submitting the RFP. 2. Changes to the RFP may be made prior to the deadline for submitting the RFP to the County. 3. The County reserves the right to reject all or any portion thereof of a response to a request for proposal in the best interest of the County. 4. All vendor contact regarding submission of the RFP shall be directed to the County Jail Administrator. Contact with individual department personnel regarding the RFP is discouraged. 5. Please attach specifications/brochures, etc. of all hardware equipment and software included in the response to the request for proposal. 6. The vendor should attach a copy or copies of all proposed service contracts for the servicing of hardware equipment and software applications, which fully describe the services and warranties associated with the proposed hardware, software, licensing, etc., capabilities. 7.All workers on this project must have CJIS compliant background checks and training. 8. Jail plans will be released upon proof of being a bonded and a licensed contractor as well as agreeing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The County of Marquette is seeking qualified and manufacturer certified vendors to furnish and install a fully functional and integrated Card Access System to supplement our jail control system. Scope of work shall include: - Installation of 69 card readers on 47 doors (22 doors are Read In / Read Out) 25 doors are single reader doors. - Card Reader system to integrate with existing Jail Control System installed by Accurate Controls, points of connect will be provided for jail control integration. - Access control panels must be installed into high density wall mounted enclosures in thelower level library next to the PLC cabinets. - Provide QTY 50 - Net2 proximity ISO cards - without mag stripe. Part Number 692-500-US. - System must incorporate a lockdown button installed in three control rooms. Lockdown button must disable all access control functions and prevent all cards from opening doors. Lockdown button shall be similar in appearance and function to the SS2421LD-EN from Safety Technology International (STI) - System must utilize Paxton hardware and readers. Substitutions will not be accepted. - Cable to card readers shall be plenum rated. - Card Readers shall be Paxton P50 Mullion reader part number: 345-220-US. - Software must be installed on existing county provided hardware. - Provide door locking hardware and installation for 10 previously uncontrolled doors. Installation must be done in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Contractor will provide all power supplies and required parts to make a fully functioning system. All cables must be machine labeled on both ends. With labels within the enclosures to easily identify which doors each panel controls. Provide Updated As-Builds and drawings of system design within 30 days of project completion. Drawings must be provided in a PDF and DWG format. Provide Optional Cost of yearly maintenance and support. Provide references of similar project sizes and scope.
