Description

The work under this contract includes the following: Furnish and install all equipment, labor and materials necessary to test existing hydrant valves including but not limited to the following, excavation of asphalt over valve covers, remove debris from valve boxes, exercise existing hydrant valve and provide a report for each valve tested. The work shall also include the removal and replacement of forty one (41) fire hydrants including Alpha Hydrant Inlet, forty one (41) resilient wedge gate valves with Alpha Restrained Joint Ends, hydrant extensions of various sizes and all restoration of existing asphalt, sidewalk, curb, stone and landscaping required.
