Description | The City invites bids to renovate the public swimming pool at 2100 Fisk Ave, by removing and replacing existing pa int, slab seals, repairing cracks in concrete slabs, restoring warning markers and lane divisions. Remove existing paint and concrete slab seal, repair cracks on pool wall, repair waterline tile. Reseal concrete slab joints and repaint pool, including existing warning and lane division lines. Pool Construction: 80' x 45' , 3' shallow end tapers to a 12'deep end that is 25' long, concrete walls and floor with water resilient grout. Paint: Remove existing paint, do not allow medium, nor paint particles enter drain circulation system, dispose in proper manner. Apply a primer sealer that is suitable for coverage to concrete. Repaint using Aqua Guard 5000 Epoxy pool paint, or something that meets or exceeds specifications, that withstands a high chlorine environment. White in color. Slab Seals: Remove existing slab seals, clean of all debris, dispose in proper manner. Use Emseal Submerseal or something compatible that will create a watertight joint seal for continuous immersion in chlorinated water environments. Crack repair: Clean and repair cracks in concrete wall and floor slabs to seal from water absorption and wall integrity.
