Soccer Team Facilities & Lacrosse Facility Improvements

The Project proposes to construct improvements to the existing Lacrosse and Soccer Practice facility. The Lacrosse facility improvements will include a reception area, coaches offices, storage and work areas and an expansion to incorporate the Soccer Facility which will provide all Soccer program functions such as coaches offices, locker room, training area, equipment storage, and other program spaces. The existing maintenance area for the complex will be modified for better functionality. Currently, the design includes approximately 14,000 gross square feet (GSF) of new space. The scope of services shall include design phase peer review; completion and maintenance of the Owner's Project Requirements (OPR) document; development of the Commissioning Plan, Commissioning Specifications, and Systems Manual; and construction phase pre-functional, functional, and performance testing for mechanical, electrical, building automation, and building envelope as well as special equipment systems. The consultant shall also support project efforts to achieve higher-than-normal energy efficiency and attain the equivalent of Gold LEED certification in the chosen rating system.
