Medford School District MSDEC Annex HVAC Upgrades

The Medford School District 549C (District) is seeking written proposals from qualified licensed contractors for the design and installation of code compliant modifications to ductwork and equipment for five (5) separate areas in our Annex Building. Currently, on the first floor, there is one unit supplying our IT office and Publications space. We would like each of these areas to be conditioned by their own equipment. There is also a third space on the first floor that needs to be incorporated into one of these systems or be on its own. Each of these three areas will likely use a combination of existing and new ductwork. All three of these areas will be controlled/monitored by their own thermostat. The two spaces on the second floor will each need their own equipment. One of these spaces has some existing ductwork that may be reused. This equipment will be placed on the upper roof or lower North roof of the Annex building. Medford School District will provide engineering specifications for framing once the location has been determined. But, It will be the responsibility of the chosen HVAC contractor to hire any framing, electrical and plumbing contractors where needed. All equipment will be capable of heating and cooling and will be controlled by Johnson Controls BAS, either on board or through BacNet.
