Biotechnology Building Third Floor Laboratory Renovation

The purpose of this project is to renovate approximately 3,800 square feet of existing office and laboratory space for the Weill Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology (WICMB) on the 3rd floor of the Biotechnology Building. The scope includes all construction required to accomplish the work, including but not limited to the following: a. Maintain proper egress and life safety systems at all times. Maintain all existing building element fire ratings. b. Demolition and renovation of existing layout, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPFP) as required. c. The installation of new fume hoods d. Replacement of old casework in lab suites 353/353B, and 357/357B e. MEP modifications and construction to support new lab equipment. f. Update finishes throughout the offices and lab spaces and additional furnishings as required.
